Description

This is a course on the natural resources found on private land and not on the public domain. It deals with the law of hard minerals, notably coal; the law of timber; and water resources in the Eastern United States. It is a course in the real estate transactions negotiating and enabling the extraction of the resource -- namely, mineral leases and deeds, timber deeds and leases, and water rights.
