Eligibility Requirements
In order to attend class(es) at AUWCL, you must either:

  • 1. Be a current law student in good-standing at an ABA-accredited law school, or:
  • 2. Be a graduate of an ABA-accredited law school, or:
  • 3. A member of a bar association

Please read the following carefully before proceeding.

Letter of Good Standing/Permission to Enroll
As part of this application process you will need to upload a letter of good standing and permission to enroll from your law school dean or registrar OR certification of your JD degree or bar membership. For your convienience this application offers you the option to save a partial application to allow you time to get the aforementioned letter. At the bottom of this form you will find two buttons: "Save" and "Submit."

Save
Once you have filled out the Personal Information section, you may save your application by clicking the "Save" button. You will then receive an email with a link which you can use to return to your application. You may save as many times as you need to, but you may also submit your application without saving.

Submit
Once you complete the entire application you may submit it by clicking the "Submit" button. Please make sure you check your data carefully before you submit as you will not be able to make any further edits to your application.

    ABA Questions

    Please answer the following (your application will not be reviewed if left unanswered). If you answer yes to any of the following questions, please explain in detail. In addition, any ambiguity in the questions below should be addressed by contacting the Office of Admissions.

  • a. Have you ever been subject to any disciplinary action, misconduct or irregularity charges or allegations, placed on academic probation, or dismissed from any school, college, university, or graduate/professional school or any organization or association including LSAC or is any such action pending or expected to be brought against you?




  • b. You must report all infractions of law, criminal or otherwise, including any that are pending. Have you ever been indicted for, charged with, or convicted of any violation of law? Traffic infractions can be excluded only if they did not involve drugs or alcohol and if the fine was less than $150. Please report all incident(s) even if the charges were discharged, dismissed, dropped, or expunged.




  • c. Have you ever been dismissed from any employment for cause or discharged from the armed forces under conditions other than honorable?




NOTE: American Bar Association Standard 504 requires that the law school advise each applicant to secure information regarding their character and other qualifications for admission to the bar in the state in which the applicant intends to practice.


    Letter

    Please upload a letter of good standing and permission to enroll from your law school dean or registrar, or certification of your JD degree or bar membership.

    The letter must be on official university letterhead and inlcude contact information for offical signing the letter.
