American University Washington College of Law (AUWCL) has long been a leader in experiential legal education. In addition to our programmatic strengths in in-house, live-client clinical education and externships, we have a vibrant simulation curriculum in the areas of trial practice, pre-trial litigation, interviewing and counseling, alternative dispute resolution, and international business negotiations among other courses. AUWCL also offers a number of unique experiential programs that build upon its historic strengths in international human rights and humanitarian law.
