Office of Career & Professional Development

The Office of Career and Professional Development is operating remotely due to precautions AUWCL has taken to protect faculty, administrators, staff, and students from exposure to COVID-19. Drop ins and counseling appointments made in CareerLink now take place via Zoom, and our team is available, as always, to assist students, alumni, and employers during regular business hours. Please email us at with your questions or concerns.

Given the significant adverse impact of the global pandemic, AUWCL is postponing our Fall On-Campus Recruitment Program until Spring 2021. If you are an employer who would prefer to collect resumes or interview AUWCL students or graduates before January 2021, please do not hesitate to contact us.  We will happily work with you to accommodate that preference. Please visit the Employers section for more information.

To help us better understand your hiring needs and foster a spirit of collaboration with you, we kindly ask that you complete this short survey. We look forward to working with you, and thank you for your continued interest in AUWCL students and graduates.

The Office of Career & Professional Development (OCPD) collaborates with JD and LL.M. students, alumni, and employers to create opportunities for professional development training, networking, and recruiting. Comprised of experienced JD counselors and a dedicated recruiting team, the OCPD is ready to help our students and graduates Champion What Matters.

Students and alumni can expect to partner with the office on all aspects of their career development through its professional development programs, individual counseling, and other targeted offerings, including WCL-specific student resources. Visit the Students/Alumni page for more information.

Employers are invited to connect with our office for all their recruiting needs, whether it is to post a job in our virtual job bank, participate in our recruiting programs both on and off campus, or connect and collaborate with students on other professional opportunities. Visit the Employers page to find out more.
