WCL Abroad

WCL Abroad serves as the touchstone for JD students regarding the internationalization of their legal education. Through our international dual degree, semester exchange, and summer abroad programs, WCL Abroad offers an exciting and diverse variety of cultural experiences, legal settings, and academic focus areas. In fact, about half of our students earn academic credit from a legal experience outside of the United States. Students earn credits in one of our nearly 20 programs abroad in over a dozen countries.

Study Abroad Programs

International Dual Degree Programs The International Dual Degree Programs allow a select number of students to obtain a JD from WCL in Washington, DC and a JD-equivalent or LLM degree from Canada, France, Italy, or Spain.

Semester Exchange Programs These programs offer students a global perspective of legal studies as they are immersed in different socio-legal cultures around the world.

Summer Abroad Programs WCL offers unique and immersive summer abroad programs taught by leading experts with opportunities to network with international law practitioners and visit premiere European institutions.
