The Office of Development and Alumni Relations creates opportunities for our more than 20,000 alumni worldwide to engage, mentor, learn, and support the law school. Through engaging opportunities we endeavor to foster a culture of commitment to Washington College of Law and its mission to Champion What Matters.
Washington College of Law initiated efforts to support our students in the wake of the current pandemic by reaching out to our alumni and community at large. Thanks to the support of our alumni, faculty, staff and friends the WCL Dean’s Fund has received numerous contributions to support students adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to the support provided through our Dean’s Fund, WCL received gifts through the Wolpoff Family Foundation and AccessLex Institute that were specifically designated to help those students experiencing non-volitional circumstances.
In total, WCL received approximately $70,000 in support for our students. Through the use of an Emergency Fund Form we successfully identified students in need and exhausted the existing contributions WCL received.
