Description

This course will follow the “life” of a trademark and the role a trademark lawyer plays in the selection, clearance, adoption, protection, and enforcement of the trademark. Students will learn best practices for reviewing trademark clearance searches and preparing written clearance opinions, prosecuting applications and maintaining registrations, enforcing rights in a trademark through cease-and-desist letter campaigns and other dispute strategies, and litigating trademark cases before the TTAB and the courts.
