The Tech, Law & Security (TLS) Program at AUWCL is a recently-launched initiative focused on tackling the challenges and opportunities posed by rapidly changing technology. This seminar will give students a forum to dig into core TLS project areas including foreign disinformation, addressing malicious content online, bio-surveillance, and the future of free speech. Students will engage with the entire TLS team and may have the opportunity to publish on emerging issues at the intersection of technology, law and national security. This course may be used to meet the upper-level writing requirement with express advance permission of the professor.
