Description

Public contracting (government procurement) is a major practice area and one where corruption is rife. This course provides a unique opportunity to interact with World Bank investigators, public contracting (procurement) experts and private sector counsel. It focuses on corruption red-flag identification techniques, investigations and sanctions regimes, challenges for contractors and defense counsel, the oversight role of civil society and efforts at asset recovery. The first class will take place at the World Bank.
