As part of an AUWCL delegation traveling throughout Asia, Dean Grossman hosted two alumni dinners this weekend in Seoul, Korea and Tokyo, Japan.

Students Trevor Maxwell (2L), Chris Keeler (2L), and Asma Kadri (2L) competed against teams from around the world May 17-22 during the international phase of the ICC Moot Court Competition in The Hague.

From May 28 – June 3, an AUWCL delegation will be in Asia to participate in academic and development visits with law schools in Korea, Japan and India. The delegation, comprised of Dean Grossman, Professors Christine Farley, Michael Carroll, and Ezra Rosser, and Office of Global Opportunities Director Theresa Kaiser, will work to expand relationships with law schools in Asia through faculty and student exchanges and other programmatic initiatives.

Associate Dean of Students David Jaffe and Professor Stephen Wermiel met with AUWCL alumni who are currenlty teaching law at Yeditepe University Law School in Istanbul, Turkey.

On Saturday, May 23, Dean Claudio Grossman hosted a dinner with alumni in San Francisco and alumnus Peter Dwares '69 together with Khadijah Al-Amin-El, director of development and alumni relations.
