Our History

Salt – American Student Assistance and AUWCL partner to offer loan repayment and financial literacy information to students free-of-charge. A valid AU email address is required to activate the student account.

AccessLex – A variety of online resources for law students, including guides to “Financing Your Legal Education” and “The Road to Zero: A Strategic Approach to Student Loan Repayment”.

Annual Credit Report – A website offering free annual credit reports from each of the three major bureaus.

Federal Trade Commission – Consumer education on credit reporting, repairs, and debt relief.

NSLDS – National Student Loan Data System provides loan information for borrowers, including loan amounts, interest rates, and servicer contact information. An FSA ID and password are required.

StudentAid.ed.gov – A Department of Education website containing information on preparing for college, types of federal aid programs, federal aid eligibility criteria, application process and loan repayment.

StudentLoans.gov – A Department of Education website containing a repayment estimator, income-driven repayment plan application, loan consolidation application, entrance/exit counseling, and numerous other loan resources. An FSA ID and password are required for most functionalities.
