Congratulations to Natalie M. Koss ’03, elected to the D.C. Bar Board of Governors.

The D.C. Bar is governed by the Board, composed of 20 lawyers selected by the active membership and three members of the public appointed by the Board itself as nonvoting members. Koss, a member of the D.C. Bar for over 15 years, is managing partner of Potomac Legal Group PLLC – a small firm that represents employees in public and private sector employment matters.

Along with being a member of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association, Koss has served on the D.C. Bar’s Judicial Evaluation Committee; Steering Committee, Law Practice Management Section and as Chair of the Practice Management Service Committee. She has taught numerous employment law CLEs, and has been widely quoted by media outlets. Koss is a triple Eagle, having also received her B.A. and M.A. from American University.

Koss seeks to use her new role to advocate for expanding the availability of pro bono legal services and increasing diversity and inclusion efforts. She will also advocate for fostering technology for practice management tools and growing mentoring programs for new lawyers.
