Students Prepare for Human Rights Careers at the UN General Assembly Session

Two American University Washington College of Law students had the opportunity to attend the 70th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, Oct. 19-21. Vanessa Alvarez and Maria Corina Muskus observed the work of Professor Mendez, United Nations Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, attended events at the United Nations, and met with the UN officials and delegates in New York.
