The purpose of the Interactive Session is to answer your questions about the Summer Law Program 2022 and Asser – WCL Internship opportunity.

Summer Human Rights Courses with the Top Human Rights Experts! (Register on Eagle Service) courses begin on May 31 - June 17, 2022

Students may convert each course into a three-credit course, by enrolling in LAW-799 Human Rights & Humanitarian Law Independent Study (1 credit).

 All courses provide a doorway for critical evaluation of doctrines, customs, and legal policies from both domestic and international perspectives. Courses are taught by the top human rights experts with worldwide recognition. Taught by 40+ of the most influential experts in the field of human rights, this is an exceptional opportunity to maximize your summer studies! Students completing three or more courses will earn a plaque certifying completion. This certification is internationally recognized and is highly valued in this competitive field, and can provide a pivotal edge in the U.S. and abroad. Celebrating the Life of Perry Wallace: Honoree Speakers & Triumph

Join the Washington College of Law community as we remember and honor Professor Perry Wallace’s life. As the first African American varsity basketball player in the SEC and prominent environmental lawyer, Professor Wallace’s impact is still felt and remembered today in the legal community and through his sports legacy. Please join us as our honorary special guests provide a glimpse into Professor Wallace’s story and the impact his life continues to make today. We will also stream the documentary, Triumph: The Untold Story of Perry Wallace, which documents Professor Wallace’s journey in breaking the SEC basketball’s color barrier as a member of the Vanderbilt men’s basketball team.
