American University Law Review Volume 69 Federal Circuit Symposium

08:30AM - 05:00PM Tenley Campus - Yuma YT01 Grossman Hall

The Federal Circuit symposium is the nation’s first and only academic symposium that is dedicated exclusively to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  The American University Law Review (“Law Review” or “AULR”) began dedicating an issue to the Federal Circuit in 1985.  Since then, the Law Review has continued to dedicate an annual issue to the court, publishing insightful and relevant articles from esteemed scholars, practitioners, and members of the judiciary that highlight and analyze developments at the Federal Circuit.
This year, the event will feature a morning keynote interview with Judge Sharon Prost, Chief Judge, of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  This keynote interview, conducted by WCL alumni and Chief Judge Prost’s former clerk, Rachel Weiner Cohen, will be followed by panel discussions on patent law, international trade law, government contracts, veterans’ law, and trademark law.  To round out the day we will have a second keynote address by Judge Jeri Somers, Vice Chair of the U.S. Civilian Board of Contract Appeals.

Registration is free but required. Register at: www.wcl.american.edu/secle/registration.
CLE accreditation will be applied for upon request – CLE cost is $275
