Started in 1997, this regional conference brings together a unique mix of leaders devoted to the advancement of and justice for the Latino/a/x communities in the United States and abroad. 
In partnership with the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia (HBA-DC), Latino/a Alumni Association of the Washington College of Law (LAAW), and Latino/a Law Students’ Association (LaLSA).

The American University International Law Review Sypmosium Part I: The Future of International Environmental Law - Global Agreements & Climate Change

 This Symposium marks the 30th anniversary of an International Environmental Law Symposium held by AUILR in 1991 as a run-up to the Earth Summit. The original published Symposium volume was an early influential issue on IEL. In revisiting the topic, we hope to take stock and look forward into the Age of the Anthropocene.

American University Law Review Federal Circuit Fridays Series: Trademark Law Oxford-Style Debate

The American University Law Review presents: Federal Circuit Symposium Series

The American University Law Review is proud to announce its 35th annual Federal Circuit Symposium will be held as a five-week series of lunch events held on Zoom every Friday this October from noon to 1 P.M. Eastern Time. Each week’s event will center on a specific legal area common to the Federal Circuit, including addresses, panel discussions, guided conversations, and events focused on Veteran's law, patents, trademarks, government contracts, and international trade.

American University Washington College of Law Professor Christine Farley will moderate this Oxford-style debate between two participating scholars on developing issues in the practice of trademark law. Further details to be announced soon!
