The Montgomery County Summer Scholar Pipeline Program

12:00PM - 01:00PM Washington College of Law

The Summer Scholars Program is a concerted effort by Montgomery County, Maryland’s legal community to promote the hiring and subsequent success of a diverse community of law students and attorneys in the County.

The Summer Scholars Program partners the Montgomery County Bar Foundation, specialty bar associations, local law firms and regional law schools to identify 15 second year law students to compete for up to 10 summer intern positions within participating Montgomery County law firms. The selected students will be hired for summer internships with the hopes that their experiences will create a pipeline for a diverse group of talented soon-to-be-lawyers who might eventually join the ranks of Montgomery County practitioners.

By the same token, it is our sincere hope that the Program might serve to further the diversity of our community at all levels and in all respects.
