Law Student Pro Bono Training: Homeless Persons Representation Project (HPRP)

The Homeless Persons Representation Project is looking for students to volunteer as court navigators for Landlord-Tenant Court on Wednesdays and Fridays in Rockville, MD. This will involve helping tenants figure out which courtroom they are going to and connecting them to legal services, as well as opportunities to shadow attorneys and observe court. This is a great opportunity to interact with clients, learn more about landlord-tenant practice, and earn pro bono hours. Join us and learn how you can get involved!

International Student Interview Program (ISIP) Application Process

 If you are have a LLM or SJD student with a foreign law degree and plan to graduate in December 2022 or May 2023 or August 2023, you are eligible to apply for International Student Interview Program (ISIP). ISIP has attracted leading legal employers – law firms, corporations, and multilateral institutions, with more than 150 employers participating regularly. For a full list of participating employers from past years please click here.

Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD) is hosting an ISIP Information and Application Session for eligible students on Tuesday, October 4th at 12-1pm in .NT08. The session will provide an overview of the program, discuss application process and highlight former participants’ experience. Prior to attending the session, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the ISIP deadlines and application instructions sent by NYU Law School (law.isip@nyu.edu). Don’t forget to have your login credentials handy during the session!
