Pro Bono Training: Landlord Tenant Resource Center Project

12:00PM - 01:00PM Tenley Campus - Yuma Y115 Classroom

 The Landlord Tenant Resource Center provides free legal information to unrepresented tenants and landlords engaged in housing disputes in D.C. Customers receive information on court processes and assistance in preparation of pleadings. Student volunteers will assist attorneys with case triage and limited screening to determine the nature of the customer’s inquiry and level of need. To participate in the project, you must be trained.

Women in Criminal Law Panel

Join the Women's Law Association for a panel of two attorneys from the DC Public Defender's Service and two attorneys from the US Attorney's Office of DC as they discuss how being a women in criminal law has impacted their practice, and how the field is changing. The event will run from 12 pm to 1 pm, and there will be 30 minutes of networking to follow. This event is co-sponsored by the Criminal Law Society.
