EJF Spring Auction

 Join the Equal Justice Foundation (EJF) for its biggest fundraiser of the year in the form of a silent auction. The auction will take place on Friday, March 22 at 7pm in the Ceremonial Classroom & Outside Lobby of the Warren Building. Guests will be able to bid on valuable prizes. All proceeds from the auction will be used to financially support public interest law students while completing summer internships.

ISSS: CPT & OPT Application Process for International Students

 Are you a F-1 or J-1 student? Don’t miss the CPT/OPT Session on March 26th at 12-1pm! ISSS will discuss the application process and paperwork required for WCL students to apply for Curriculum Practical Training (CPT) to extern and Optional Practical Training (OPT) to work post-graduation. The session will be held virtually and registration is required. 

Faculty Support for Your Post-Graduation Job Search

Are you about to graduate from the JD program?  Are you looking for an entry-level lawyer or policy job?  Join Professors Beske and Carroll and OCPD’s Jai Smith-Avery as they guide you through what the job search process will look like over the next few months—and what your faculty and can do to help, on top of OCPD’s services. Connections, mock interviews, ideas for places to apply—it all depends on what you need.  Come learn how to make the most of WCL’s great resources so you can land a great first job. Registration is required!

Careers in Government: Investigations and Enforcement

 

Many of the agencies we will feature have terrific externship, summer, and post-grad programs for our students, but deadlines can be especially early for government jobs!  Some summer and post-grad application deadlines are as early as August!  Join us for a pizza lunch in NT01 so you can hear what these alum have to share and start planning ahead for these deadlines over the summer! Registration is required.
