Refresher on Big Law Hiring
Do you feel like you could use a refresher on how to apply for a summer associate position at a large firm? Big Law firms? Do you want to know more about “precruiting” and what you can do to be ready to apply through Direct Applications and OCI? Come to this event (March 20th @ 12 PM in N102)-- a refresher from last semester’s session on Big Law introductory event -- led by one and only Rachel Janger from the OCPD! Careers in Government: Money and Finance
Join Professor Wermiel, OCPD, and a panel of WCL alums from the SEC, FINRA, PBGC, and the Treasury Department’s Office of the Comptroller of Currency to learn more about legal careers in the government. This will be the first in our Spring panel series on government careers, and is recommended for any JD student interested working in the government or in a related practice-area.
Many of the agencies we will feature have terrific externship, summer, and post-grad programs for our students, but deadlines can be especially early for government jobs! Some summer and post-grad application deadlines are as early as August!
