Women in Business Law Leadership

03:00PM - 06:00PM East Campus, 4400 Massachusetts Ave. NW, Washington, DC, 20016, Main Campus - Constitutional Hall

The American University Washington College of Law (WCL), founded by women, is a leader in business law. In step with WCL’s exceptional beginning, the American University Business Law Review (AUBLR) is a pioneering journal. We are the first business law review in the nation’s capital, and now our Volumes 8 and 9 all-female editorial boards are breaking the glass ceiling in business law scholarship.

In celebration of this achievement, we are hosting the first annual Women in Business Law Leadership Conference on May 7. The event will feature Kara Stein, former SEC Commissioner, as well as panels on legal transformation and future scholarship.

The Women in Business Law Leadership event is launching in conjunction with a call for papers for an all-women authored issue to be published in AUBLR’s Volume 9.
