The Arab Population in Israel 1948 to Today
Join AU's Center for Israel Studies and Center for Human Rights & Humanitarian Law for a conference on the state of Israeli Arabs from 1948 to today. This half-day conference will feature breakout sessions focusing on gender, sports, civil society, and government investment in the Arab sector. Tamir Sorek (University of Florida) and Mohammed Wattad (Zefat Academic College of Law) will provide remarks. This event is also co-sponsored by AU's Arab World Studies Program, the Greater Washington Forum on Israeli Arab Issues, and the New Israel Fund.
