  • Dean Grossman Gives Keynote Address at DOJ Hispanic Heritage Month Event

    On Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m., Dean Claudio Grossman will give the keynote address at the Department of Justice's Hispanic Heritage Month Observance Program taking place in The Great Hall of the RFK Main Justice Building. Associate Deputy Attorney General Carlos Uriarte will introduce Dean Grossman to event attendees, which will include 150 DOJ senior officials, employees, and invited guests including students. National Hispanic Heritage Month occurs from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 each year. During this time, communities across the United States take time to acknowledge the contributions of Hispanic Americans to our nation, and to celebrate the group's heritage and culture. MORE

  • LAAW and LaLSA to Co-Host Hispanic Heritage Month Event on Oct. 6

    Today, the Latino Alumni Association (LAAW) and the Latino/a Law Students Association ( LaLSA) will co-host an Hispanic Heritage Month commemorative event -- The Making of Latino Legal Leaders: Channeling Our Heritage to Achieve Success -- from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the JD Student Lounges.

    The new Tenley Campus, which has been designed with a high priority on environmental sustainability, targets LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification. Key components of the campus design include water and energy efficient systems, sustainable material selection, and interior environments that promote occupant health. MORE
