David Brill – Counsel at Voyager Digital
David Brill serves as the Head Commercial Counsel of Voyager Digital in New York City. Mr. Brill centers his practice in the digital asset space, handling a variety of regulatory, securities, technology and compliance matters.
A pioneer in the digital asset space, Mr. Brill helped one of the first regulated digital asset exchanges list Ethereum on its platform and worked on the first exchange traded fund (ETF) filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Also Mr. Brill, as Chair of the Crypto Assets Working Group for the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance, works to promote the comprehensive adoption of blockchain technology and crypto assets across global financial markets.
Prior to joining Voyager Digital, Mr. Brill served as General Counsel of OST, General Counsel of Gemini Trust Company, EVP & General Counsel of American Stock Transfer & Trust Company, and as a senior lawyer at Thomson Reuters. Mr. Brill has a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law (’96) where he was a member of the International Law Review.
