Hiroyuki Tezuka heads the international dispute resolution practice at Nishimura & Asahi in Tokyo. He is a leading figure in international litigation and arbitration, has handled a variety of cases including M&A, licensing, and construction disputes, as well as intellectual property disputes as counsel and as an arbitrator. We will discuss current trends and developments related to commercial arbitration in Japan and other Asian countries, looking at the nuances involved in selecting different seats and rules for arbitrating disputes in the region.
