AUWCL's Stephen S. Weinstein Trial Advocacy Program hosted an Advanced Advocacy Training Program from Sept.19-23 for twenty-four U.S. Marine Corps Judge Advocates. Professors Andy Popper and Robert Vaughn are among the many high profile speakers to present this week at the four-day "Breaking through Power" conference held in Washington, D.C. The Conference is a celebration of the civil justice system featuring speakers such as Ralph Nader and Rep. John Conyers. The Herman Schwartz Israel Human Rights Law Fellowship was founded by Professor Herman Schwartz in 1984 as a joint initiative between AUWCL and the New Israel Fund.
