AUWCL Associate Dean for Library & Information Resources Billie Jo Kaufman to Assume SEALS Presidency at 2017 Annual Meeting
The Southeastern Association of Law Schools (SEALS) 2017 Annual Meeting will take place July 31 - August 6. AUWCL Associate Dean for Library & Information Resources Billie Jo Kaufman will assume this year's SEALS Presidency. The meeting offers legal educators panels and discussion groups that focus on pedogogy; thus offering law professors an opportunity to enhance their classroom teaching. AUWCL faculty and administrators serving as presenters and/or officers at this year's meeting include: Llezlie Green Coleman, Jennifer Daskal, Billie Jo Kaufman, Jonathan Grossberg, Claire Prono, Anita Sinha, Richard Ugelow, and Anthony Varona.
AUWCL Launches New Health Law and Policy Program
American University Washington College of Law has launched a new Health Law and Policy Program led by Professor Lindsay F. Wiley and Senior Fellow of Health Law and Policy Asha Scielzo. The Program will bring the practice of health law directly into the classroom, ensuring that JD, LL.M., and SJD students graduate practice-ready and connected to opportunities in the field.
