09:00AM - 12:00PM Online via zoom
An introduction to the United States International Trade Commission and Section 337 aimed at both students and professionals hoping to gain a greater understanding of the agency and its powerful effect on trade and the U.S. economy. A series of expert panels, including practicing attorneys and a current administrative law judge, break down the general function of the USITC and take a deep dive into Section 337.
The USITC investigates unfair trade practices and whether or not such practices harm U.S. businesses. Section 337 scrutinizes intellectual property violations in respect to imported products, which may result in a ban of said product entering the U.S.
