Tenley Campus - Warren NT01 Ceremonial Classroom
In the last several months, the Trump administration has taken several measures to stop the caravan of asylum-seekers. The administration's most recent measures have included removing U.S. citizen lawyers and advocates from Mexico. U.S. Customs and Border Protection has searched and interrogated, without warrant, dozens of journalists, lawyers, and advocates.
Please join WCL's International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) on Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 12-1pm in NT01, for a panel discussion on the policy and legal implications of the U.S. government's recent conduct against advocates at the border. The panelists for the discussion include Professor Dina Francesca Haynes, Professor at Law at New England Law, and Ms. Hadar Harris, the Executive Director at the Student Press Law Center. RSVPs are encouraged but not required. To RSVP or ask questions please email wclirap@gmail.com.
