Ali Boyd (JD '19)
Ali Boyd is a legal and policy officer for Fair Trials, Washington, D.C.-based global criminal justice watchdog campaigning for fairness, equality and justice. Prior to joining Fair Trials, she worked at the U.S.-Mexico border as a public defender. Ali’s human rights career has focused on access to counsel, immigrant rights, and torture prohibition through her work with the El Paso Immigration Collaborative, Annunciation House, Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center, and UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency. She holds a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and a B.A. from Furman University. Ali is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and Texas Bar.
