Ali Sternburg is Vice President, Information Policy at the Computer & Communications Industry Association, where she focuses on intermediary liability, copyright, and other areas of intellectual property. Ali joined CCIA during law school in 2011, and previously served as Senior Policy Counsel, Policy Counsel, and Legal Fellow. She is also an Inaugural Fellow at the Internet Law & Policy Foundry.

She received her J.D. in 2012 from American University Washington College of Law, where she was a Student Attorney in the Glushko-Samuelson Intellectual Property Law Clinic, President of the Intellectual Property Law Society, Senior Symposium Chair and Senior Marketing Manager for the Intellectual Property Brief and a Dean’s Fellow at the Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property.

As Deputy General Counsel & Open Internet Counsel, Stan worked to promote access to information, permissionless innovation, and secure, non-discriminatory communications technologies. Working closely with CDT’s technologists, he focused on policy approaches that acknowledge and respect technology's real-world capabilities and limitations. He also advocated for copyright and trade policies that balance the interests of creators and users while preserving the ability of individual people to create, contribute, and share experiences and expressions online.  Stan led CDT’s GRAIL Network project, which facilitates engagement between policymakers and the scientists, researchers, and academics who focus on artificial intelligence.

As Senior Policy Counsel, Meredith focuses on copyright, DMCA, intellectual property reform, governance issues, and telecommunications regulatory matters. Before working at Public Knowledge, Meredith worked on consumer policy issues at the Federal Communications Commission, the Trans-Atlantic Consumer Dialogue, and Knowledge Ecology International. Meredith received her J.D. and A.B. from the University of Chicago. When not in the office, she’s an avid video gamer and desert hiker.

Raza Panjwani is a Senior Policy Counsel at New America’s Open Technology Institute, where he focuses on broadband access and adoption, net neutrality, and competition and consumer protection issues related to internet access.  Panjwan brings over a decade of experience addressing a broad range of consumer and technology policy issues at start-ups, publicly traded companies, and public interest advocacy organizations. He has led policy strategy and advocacy across topics including autonomous vehicles, open source medical technology, online free expression and copyright law, semiconductor supply chains, and right-to-repair.

Panjwani previously served as Policy Counsel at Public Knowledge, and most recently led public policy for the hardware design, development, and manufacturing divisions at Meta’s Reality Labs.
