Elizabeth Cavanagh

Elizabeth Cavanagh received an A.B. from Dartmouth College in 1992 and a J.D. from Yale Law School in 1995. At Yale, she served as Executive Editor of the Yale Law Journal. After graduation, Ms. Cavanagh clerked for Judge Louis F. Oberdorfer of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and Justice John Paul Stevens of the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Cavanagh spent four years as an appellate and trial litigator at Jenner & Block. In recent years, she has taught a law school seminar on appellate advocacy and has served on a hearing committee for the D.C. Board on Professional Responsibility. Ms. Cavanagh is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
