Entrepreneurship Law Clinic

Founded in 2020, the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic (ELC) provides an immersive, hands-on one-semester experience in transactional law while advancing economic justice in the greater Washington, D.C. area. In the ELC, students serve as trusted legal advisors to small businesses, startups, and nonprofits — particularly those led by entrepreneurs from underserved communities. Our mission is to dismantle systemic barriers, promote racial economic equity, and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem across D.C. and Maryland. We are more than a clinic — we are a hub for innovation, inclusivity, and community-driven economic growth.
