Description
This is an introduction to domestic U.S. copyright law, taught with an emphasis on the basic concepts in the field and the policy tensions that shape its development. Examples of copyright in action will be drawn from areas of creative activity – the various arts, computer science, journalism, business, etc. The course provides an important foundation for advanced study in copyright and IP generally.
