
Jarod Gutierrez is a third-year law student at American University Washington College of Law. He currently serves as a Dean’s Fellow for the Tech, Law, and Security Society and as a Research Assistant for Professor Gary Corn, contributing to projects on cybersecurity and international law. He currently externs with the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps at Joint Base Andrews, concentrating on military justice, operations, and civil law. He is completing the Business Compliance & Ethics Certificate and has studied international trade and technology law abroad, including coursework with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the World Trade Organization (WTO), as well as programs in Marburg, Germany. Jarod earned his B.A. in Political Science from Louisiana State University and, in his free time, enjoys building custom PCs and watching Formula 1.
