Carson Morgan

Carson Morgan is a TLS Dean’s Fellow and a third-year law student with an interest in cybersecurity and data privacy law. He serves as an Articles Editor for the American University Law Review, President of the Tech, Law, and Security Society, and a Research Assistant for the Director of Pence Law Library, Adeen Postar.

Carson is from Birmingham, Michigan, and lived in Shanghai, China, from 2013–2018. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Michigan State University, with minors in Chinese and Science, Technology, Environment, and Public Policy, where he graduated in three years.

Carson has gained legal experience with the D.C. Superior Court, the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Security Division, Office of Justice for Victims of Overseas Terrorism, and the Alliance for Automotive Innovation. He enjoys reading, exercising, and playing the piano in his free time.
