26th Anniversary
Burton D. Wechsler
National First Amendment Moot Court Competition

The Burton D. Wechsler National First Amendment Moot Court Competition prides itself on providing a high-quality experience in the nation’s capital. Given the constant development and uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, and its tremendous impact on the Washington, D.C. area, we are unable to deliver the quality competition our competitors, coaches, and judges expect.

Regretfully, the October 2020 Weschler competition will not take place. We are disappointed; however, the health and safety of our extended Moot Court community is of paramount importance.

We look forward to seeing you all next year for the 27th Annual Burton D. Wechsler National First Amendment Moot Court Competition on October 23—24, 2021 in Washington, D.C. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
