Specializations and Certificates

At the end of your second term, you will choose one of the industry-specific specializations that best aligns with your goals: General MLS, Business, Cybersecurity, Health Care Compliance, Technology, or U.S. Legislation. If you select the Business, Cybersecurity, Health Care Compliance, Technology, or U.S. Legislation track, you will earn a certificate in addition to your MLS degree.

• General MLS – Gain a comprehensive understanding of legal concepts, legal procedures, and the overall U.S. legal system. Explore the General MLS specialization curriculum.

• Business – Learn to make more effective business decisions and ensure compliance with business laws and regulations. Explore the Business specialization curriculum.

• Cybersecurity – Learn to comply with Internet and cybersecurity law and data regulations and protect against data exposure. Explore the Cybersecurity specialization curriculum.

• Health Care Compliance – Develop specialized knowledge about health care compliance law and regulations and learn to implement effective health care programs. Explore the Health Care Compliance specialization curriculum.
