Description
This two-credit course in communications law focuses on economic regulatory questions. It emphasizes policy issues involving access and entry, market structure and competition, and pricing in the regulation of broadcast and spectrum, cable television and video, telephone, and the Internet. Content regulation (e.g. indecency) and concerns about diversity of viewpoints are addressed in the law school’s course on Communications Law and Information Policy, which students may also take.
