Baker
Notices
First-year full-time JD only
Description
Examines a range of legal issues through the lens of economic analysis. Many of the issues discussed will be taken from first year courses (contracts, torts, property, civil procedure, and criminal law). But Law & Economics is neither a course in any of those subjects nor an economics course. Its focus will instead be jurisprudential: on using economic thinking to understand legal rules and issues. No prior background in economics is required. (Examination)
