SCOTUSblog, a blog covering the U.S. Supreme Court published by alumnus Tom Goldstein '95, and edited by his wife, Amy Howe, has been honored with a Peabody Award for excellence in electronic media. This is the first time a website has received this honor. Professor Stephen Wermiel was also recognized as part of the SCOTUSblog team—he authors the website's "SCOTUS for law students" column.
Each summer, students and practitioners gather from around the globe to experience intensive training at AUWCL that will give them a competitive advantage. The law school's specialized law programs run May 28 through July 28 and qualify for CLE and academic credit. The topics are cutting-edge, including world-reknowned programs in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, International Commercial Arbitration, Environmental Law, and International Organizations Law and Diplomacy.
