2025 SPRING QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT
The Spring Qualifying Tournament (SQT) allows first, second, and part-time third year students the opportunity to try out for membership on the Mock Trial Honor Society. Advocates will be given a short case file, from which they will prepare a five-minute closing argument, and should they advance to the second day, a four-minute direct examination.
Check back for dates for information sessions about SQT! We will walk you through the expectations and format of SQT, as well as run mini-workshops on how to write a direct examination. Both sessions will have identical content, so pick the best time for your schedule to stop by.
