The Panama Papers and Unaoil scandal have trained a spotlight on the massive wealth hidden by high-level public officials – from Brazil, China, Russia and many others – in offshore shell company accounts.   With much suspected to have been illicitly obtained, efforts to crack down on banks have ramped up.  But, what about recovering these and other stolen assets?   Join us for a discussion with experts on the challenges – and successes -- in recovering stolen assets.   Speakers:  Carlos N. Barbosa, Ministerio da Justica, Brazil;  Stephen Gibbons, US Department of Justice and Elsa Gopala Krishnan, StAR
