The American University Law Review is hosting the Federal Circuit Symposium at the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit with keynote speaker The Honorable Judge Jimmie V. Reyna. A panel moderated by David Cavanaugh, partner at WilmerHale and adjunct professor at Washington College of Law, will follow discussing the reviewability of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board's decision to institute post-grant proceedings. The panel consists of practitioners including Terry Rea, partner at Crowell and Moring and former Director of the Patent and Trademark Office; Lauren Degnan, partner at Fish and Richardson; Rob McManus, attorney in the solicitor's office of the Patent and Trademark Office; and Jonathan Stroud, patent counsel at Unified Patents.
