U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit Chief Judge and WCL alum Sharon Prost and Judge Arthur J. Gajarsa (retired) will sit down with WCL alum Rachel Weiner Cohen to discuss various trending IP topics, including the impact of the America Invests Act on the Federal Circuit docket, the Supreme Court’s increased interest in patent cases, and tips and tricks on how to successfully make a career in this high stakes litigation area. Topic areas also include Federal Circuit jurisdiction, effective advocacy, and differences between working for the government and in private practice. Students have been invited to submit questions for the panelists. Alumni, practitioners, and friends are encouraged to attend. The panel will start at 4:00 PM, reception to follow.
