Inequality continues to expand in America, as the middle class finds themselves on the losing side of the growing class divide. How did we get here and more importantly, how do we change our current course? This symposium will look at how government policies, such as deregulation, privatization and public disinvestment, are contributing factors, as well as the need to change social welfare policy to meet new challenges.
