American University Washington College of Law will host both the North American and the Latin American Regional Rounds of the 2014 ELSA WTO Moot Court Competition. This is a simulated hearing of the World Trade Organization (WTO) dispute settlement system and is organized annually by ELSA (The European Law Students Association) with the cooperation of the WTO. The competition is open to teams from around the globe. The 12th edition of the competition will be finalized in May 2014 in Geneva, Switzerland. This is the third year that the law school has hosted the WTO Moot Court Competition.
As the Preliminary Round pleadings shall start early on the morning of Thursday March 6th , 2014, you should book your accommodation and check-in Wednesday March 5th , 2014 before 17:00 o'clock.
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott Chevy Chase, 5520 Wisconsin Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 for the nights of March 5, March 6, March 7 and March 8. This block will be held until 2/5/14. Further nights may be available upon request.
