Teaching to Learn: Human Rights Education From Law School to High School

This conference will focus on innovative educational initiatives for law students which seek to harness their abilities to be human rights educators and to engage in both experiential learning and teaching. Among the initiatives to be explored is a new project of the WCL Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law and the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights focused on the Speak Truth to Power human rights curriculum. The conference will feature a keynote address by Kerry Kennedy and will also feature a performance of the play Speak Truth to Power by Ariel Dorfman.
