On the Brink: Environmental Conflicts Along the Path Toward Sustainable Development

This symposium will focus on the conflicts surrounding the use and development of various natural resources across the world. Panels will examine challenges and opportunities in the development of alternative energy resources; the development of public lands and natural resources; and international resources conflicts. Each panel will discuss how the use of legal and policy mechanisms can be used to mitigate and prevent these impacts.
